How to Survive in the Music Jungle

Vince has a remarkable ability to communicate with students. The emphasis is on music publishing, how to protect your music; surrounding yourself with friends (managers, agents, attorneys); copyright, contacts, songwriter and artist pitfalls; music licensing, (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC); marketing oneself; and group problems. The aim is to introduce students to important concepts in music business and show how they can protect themselves from "sharks."
